For the punch needle embroidery, there are few tips you require to know before starting this, some tips are as under:

  1. Use the correct fabric for your base:

If you are punching with carpet fiber, you’ll require to use Monk’s Cloth material.  Monk’s cloth 100% cotton material including a sturdy, yet soft design. Use monk’s materials for your lining foundation when you’re doing pillows, handbags, filled objects, or indeed punch needle carpets.

There are many sizes of monk cloth available for embroidery designs. For the needle punch, you require monk cloth having more set designs, For punch needle; prefer a monk’s cloth including about 12 holes per inch.
